PROTOCOL 01

Release and access

When does Security 51 release?

The current Steam and Alawar pages list August 12, 2026. Steam still marked the game as pre-release when checked on August 10.

Was there a Security 51 demo?

Yes. The official demo launched on June 11, 2026. Alawar's July 21 release update later said the demo had closed so the team could focus on the full release.

Is Security 51 multiplayer?

No multiplayer mode is listed. The current Steam feature panel identifies Security 51 as single-player.

What platforms are confirmed?

Steam publishes minimum requirements for Windows and macOS. No console version is claimed on this site without an official announcement.

PROTOCOL 02

Checkpoint mechanics

The core inspection method is to combine evidence rather than rely on one signal. A polished pass can still contain a number mismatch; matching clearance does not prove identity; suspicious behavior can justify escalation without proving an anomaly by itself. The checkpoint guide lays out the full sequence.

What do you check at the checkpoint?

Official descriptions mention names, positions, clearance, time, documents and passes, verbal answers, unusual behavior, and stronger physical or identity inspection methods.

Can you quarantine people?

Yes. Quarantine is an official containment action, and the description warns that an innocent employee can be isolated by mistake and consequences may appear later.

Does Security 51 have multiple endings?

The current Steam tags include Multiple Endings. An exact count, names, and routes are not stated here because the full release has not yet been verified.

Does Security 51 have achievements?

Steam lists Achievements as a feature. This site does not publish a list or unlock requirements until those details can be checked against the released game.

PROTOCOL 03

Hardware and freshness

Steam's current minimums include 8 GB RAM and 2 GB available storage on both listed operating-system families. Windows also names an Intel Core i5-6400 or analogous CPU and an RX 550 or GTX 960-class GPU, while macOS lists Apple M1 and Big Sur 11.7.10 or newer.

Pages with mechanics that may change show a verification date and evidence class. Current product pages override older announcements, and demo behavior remains labeled rather than silently presented as a full-release rule.
